In the early 70s when I joined the Greensburg Fire Department, I saw a reel of 26mm film there and asked what it was? It was a copy of the movie taken of the Greensburg Centennial of 1959. No one could tell me if it was the only copy. It just hung around there with no particular storage place. Later at the new fire station when I became involved with the Decatur County Fire Academy, I was making some training films when I decided to copy that film so that if something happened to it we would still have a copy. I made two copies of which I have one and the other may still be at the Fire Department. With all of the copies out there now, I do not think we have to worry about losing the story taken on that film. I wonder where that film is now?
